The National Association of Health Underwriters has presented that Harold R. Gordon Award to John Nelson.
At NAHU, Arlington, Va., the Gordon award is the “person of the year” award.
Nelson is co-chief executive officer of Warner Pacific Insurance Services, Newport Beach, Calif., a health insurance general agency.
Nelson was the 2005-2006 president of NAHU. He helped NAHU create an industry relations committee, to improve the group’s ability to work with carriers, other industry organizations and regulatory authorities.
