Penn Mutual names Michael Goldfeder sales manager of the New York agency

The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, Horsham, Pa., has announced that Michael Goldfeder, CFP, was recently appointed sales manager of the Palmieri-Ganley Agency in Uniondale, N.Y. As sales manager, Goldfeder will work closely with the IFA leadership team and managing partners Frank Palmieri and Peter Ganley to provide coaching and training and ensure continual development producers’ success.

Goldfeder joined Penn Mutual in 2007 as director of investment sales and marketing at the Palmieri-Ganley agency. Over the past three years in that position, Goldfeder has been responsible for driving company policies with regard to broker-dealer business. Prior to joining Penn Mutual, Goldfeder worked as an investment specialist with Wealth Advisory Group in New York.

“Michael’s experience in the field and particularly with the Palmieri-Ganley agency makes him an ideal fit for the position of sales manager,” said Jonathan J. Pratt, CLF, Vice President, Career Agency System. “As sales manager, Michael’s expertise and extensive knowledge of our company’s products will certainly benefit his training and coaching of our producers. An active participant in the industry, Goldfeder is current member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and has served on the education committee for the National Association of The Remodeling Industry (NARI). Additionally, Goldfeder took part in the Guardian Leaders Conference in 2005 and 2006. He graduated from SUNY College at Oneonta where he received a degree in political science.

Goldfeder is also active in his community as a little league coach and a member of the Cow Bay Business Network. He and his wife reside in Floral Park, N.Y. with their three children.
