Delta Dental Wins Texas Contracts

Superior HealthPlan has picked Delta Dental Insurance Company to provide dental benefits for Medicaid, foster care and Medicare Advantage plan enrollees.

Superior HealthPlan, a unit of Centene Corp., St. Louis (NYSE:CNC), will be using Delta Dental, San Francisco, a unit of Dentegra Group Inc., to manage dental benefits for the STAR Health program, which covers children and young adults in foster care; the STAR+PLUS program, which serves elderly and disabled Texas residents; and the Superior Medicare Advantage plan, which serves Medicare beneficiaries with special needs who are also eligible for Medicaid.
