Penn Mutual names Jonathan Berniger sales manager of Columbus agency

Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, Horsham, Pa., has named Jonathan Berniger as sales manager for 21^st Century Financial, Penn Mutual’s career agency office in Columbus, Ohio. As sales manager, Berniger will work closely with the IFA Leadership team and managing partner, Charles R. Parks, to provide coaching and training to ensure continual development and producers’ success.

Berniger joins Penn Mutual after spending nearly eight years building his career at the Guardian Life Insurance Company. While at Guardian, Berniger worked as a career development supervisor, specializing in recruiting and training. In this position, Berniger achieved high levels of success and received the Presidential Citation Award (PCA) at the company for recruiting excellence five years in a row. Prior to his work as career development supervisor, Berniger was a life brokerage specialist and was responsible for wholesaling Guardian’s life product suite. Berniger’s particular areas of expertise are college and protection planning.
