Baty To Oversee Insurer

Bruce Baty will be the special deputy receiver for National States Insurance Company.

The Missouri Department of Insurance put National States, St. Louis, in rehabilitation April 1.

National States was founded in 1964 and has written life, long term care and Medicare supplement insurance coverage.

Baty, a partner in the Kansas City, Mo., office of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal L.L.P., has a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Sonnenschein insurance regulatory and insurance practices.
