Personnel Changes: Western & Southern, OneAmerica, Others

Western & Southern Financial Group has named Jonathan Niemeyer senior vice president and general counsel.

Niemeyer, who has been vice president and associate general counsel, will succeed Donald Wuebbling, according to Western & Southern, Cincinnati.

Wuebbling retired after 35 years of service.

Niemeyer has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Kentucky and a law degree from the University of Kentucky.

In other personnel news:

- OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc., Indianapolis, has named Gene Berry to be vice president and chief information officer.

Berry will succeed Emet Talley, who is retiring.

Berry previously was a senior vice president of insurance services and chief information officer at Shenandoah Life Insurance Company, Roanoke, Va.

Berry has a bachelor’s degree in business and computer and information sciences from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in business from the California State University, Fullerton.

He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living professional designations.

- Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Golden Valley, Minn., a unit of Allianz A.G., Munich, Germany, has promoted Heidi Wachholz to vice president of sales for the Northeast Region.

Wachholz previously was senior director of distribution marketing at Allianz Life.

Wachholz has a bachelor’s degree in business communications from Augsburg College.

- RolloverSystems L.L.C., Charlotte, N.C., a company that helps retirement plan sponsors handle participants who are no longer their employees, has hired Spencer Pringle to be chief retail sales officer.

Pringle previously worked for Fidelity Investments, Boston.
