A company that develops household financial management software has formed an advisor solutions group.

LifeYield L.L.C., Boston, says it will use the new group to provide training and support for independent broker dealer financial advisors and registered investment advisors.

The LifeYield ROI software system takes tax considerations into account when giving users ideas about how to allocate household assets.

The new advisor solutions group will help broker-dealer advisors and RIAs improve the way they use the software, and it also will get ideas from advisors about ways to improve the software, LifeYield says.

The leaders of the advisor solutions group are Thomas Prior and John Sharry, two executive vice presidents.

Sharry has been head of annuity distribution at Phoenix Companies Inc., Hartford (NYSE:PNX).
