An insurer that has focused on marketing to multinational employers has started offering small group and large group health plans in Texas and South Carolina.
Nippon Life Benefits, New York, a unit of Nippon Life Insurance Company, Osaka, Japan, says its product menu in Texas and South Carolina will include preferred provider organization plans, high-deductible health plans, and flexible FlexChoice plans.
Nippon Life Benefits also sells group life, group dental, group vision and group prescription drug plans.
The company provides customer service in Japanese, Korean and Spanish as well as in English.
