Worksite Products Snag AHA Backing

Two worksite insurance products have received the endorsement of the not-for-profit American Hospital Association, Chicago.

Issued by Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company, Boston, the products offer voluntary critical illness and accident insurance for hospitals to address the insurance needs of their employees.

The CI product pays benefits if the insured suffers from catastrophic illnesses such as cancer, heart attacks and strokes, according to a joint statement from AHA and Boston Mutual. One of its features allows payment of additional benefits for either a recurrence of a given condition or onset of a different covered illness.
