A Great Lakes-based insurer has expanded its presence in the Sunshine State.
The group life division of Minnesota Life Insurance Co., St. Paul, has set up a second sales and service office in Fort Myers, Fla. The new location follows the earlier establishment of a Tallahassee-based service office.
Minnesota Life says the company provides group life insurance to Fortune 1000 employers and large public employee groups nationwide. In Florida, public sector clients include the state of Florida, Lee County Government, The City of Fort Myers, Alachua County, Palm Beach County, Valencia Community College, City of Miami, and Pasco County.
The sales and service offices in Tallahassee and Fort Myers will provide account management services and support sales efforts in the region.
