Hispanic seniors fare better than younger counterparts

5% – Percentage of Hispanic seniors who consult a financial planner, compared with 15 percent of Hispanic boomers.

30% – Percentage of Hispanic seniors who said they were "very confident" they would live comfortably through retirement, compared with 21 percent of boomers.

12% – Percentage of Hispanic seniors who had to borrow money to pay everyday expenses, compared with 38 percent of boomers.

12% – Percentage of Hispanic seniors who had to seek financial help through friends and family, charities, or churches, compared with 27 percent of boomers.
