Oregon regulators have completed a round of approvals of the acquisition of Clear One Health Plans Inc. by PacificSource Charitable Foundation Inc.

ClearOne, Bend, Ore., says it has received approval of the deal from the Oregon Division of Medical Assistance Programs' Dept. of Human Services.

Clear One had already received approval of the transaction from the Insurance Division of Oregon's Department of Consumer and Business Services and received confirmation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services that the deal could proceed.

The parties expect to close the deal the week of May 17.

PacificSource, which does business as PacificSource Health Plans, announced in December it intended to acquire Clear One for $46 million in cash.

PacificSource is a health care organization founded in 1933 that provides medical and dental coverage for about 181,000 people in Oregon and Idaho.
