Several speakers and agenda items have been announced for the seventh annual Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association (LIDMA) Fall Meeting & Showcase, scheduled for Oct. 3-6, 2010 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle.

Themed “LIDMA 7.0 – The Next Generation,” the 2010 installment of the event will focus on key advances in the direct response niche of the life insurance industry including LIDMA’s eProcess Flow Initiatives which are being adopted throughout the industry. Information and demonstrations will also be featured on the latest technologies and industry reforms that are reshaping the way life insurance is processed and serviced.

“The direct response channel of the life insurance industry continues to grow and now we know it is a significant portion of sales in the industry,” says Pat Wedeking, president of LIDMA. “In fact, according to a recent study we completed with LIMRA, one in five policies sold in the United States are now sold through direct response.”

The event will feature a full agenda of speakers including:

? Steven Schwartz, Senior Vice President of Insurance with Raymond James

? David Carpenter, Digital Strategist with Connection Model

? Patrick J, Hatfield, Brian T. Casey and Gregory T. Casamento of Locke, Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP

? Byron Udell, Chairman and CEO of AccuQuote Insurance Services

“Our Fall Meeting & Showcase has become the ‘must attend’ event for producers, agencies and any other company involved in the rapidly growing niche of direct response sales,” says Wedeking. “LIDMA is the top industry resource for producers and companies looking to expand their direct response channel as well as those who are looking to grow their business by getting into this area of sales.”

Other program highlights at the Fall Meeting & Showcase will include the return of the popular Legal & Technology Summit, a Top Direct Marketer’s Best Practices Panel Discussion, networking sessions and much more.

Attendance at the Fall Meeting & Showcase is available only to LIDMA members and a special invitation to their CIOs/CTOs and legal professionals and Marketing Officers.
