Wolters Kluwer Law & Business has acquired Fort William L.L.C.

Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, Riverwoods, Ill., is an information services unit of Wolters Kluwer N.V., Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands.

Fort William, Milwaukee, sells document and forms software for employee benefits professionals. The firm, known as ftwilliam.com, was the first vendor to be approved by the U.S. Department of Labor for Form 5500 EFAST2 electronic filing.

Ftwilliam.com will become part of the pension and benefits business at Wolters Kluwer Law & Business.

The companies are not discussing how much Wolters Kluwer Law & Business is paying for ftwilliam.com, but they are saying that the 11 employees at ftwilliam.com will join Wolters Kluwer Law & Business.
