Nippon Life Benefits has introduced an easy-to-tailor group health plan.

The plan, FlexChoice, is a medical and prescription group drug plan offering access to a number of national and regional networks, according to Nippon Life, New York, a unit of Nippon Life Insurance Company, Osaka, Japan.

The company is offering the plan to small and large groups in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee. Nippon Life says it also expects to extend the plan to Texas, New York, New Jersey and Wisconsin by the end of the year.

FlexChoice gives employers wide latitude to determine deductibles, out-of-pocket costs and co-pay options for medical services and prescription drugs, Nippon Life says.

As with other Nippon Life products, FlexChoice provides multilingual customer support in Japanese, Korean and Spanish as well as in English.
