CANNEX Financial Exchanges Ltd. has hired Gary Baker to be president of the U.S. division.
Baker previously was vice president, income solutions, at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, Mass., according to CANNEX, Toronto.
CANNEX sells producers comparative information about income annuities.
Baker has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Hancock previously was vice chairman of KeyCorp, Cleveland.
- Humana Inc., Louisville, Ky. (NYSE:HUM), has hired Roy Goldman to be vice president and chief actuary.
Goldman has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Franklin and Marshall University and a doctorate in mathematics from Rutgers University. He holds the Charter Enterprise Risk Analyst professional designation.
- American United Life Insurance Company, a unit of OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc., Indianapolis, has hired Peter Welsh to be vice president of product and marketing strategy.
Welsh previously was managing director of Pulse Logic, Chicago.
Welsh has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Indiana University. He holds the Certified Public Accountant professional designation.
