?The Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) has released its 2009 membership profile, produced in collaboration with Cerulli Associates. One notable change is that an increase in the number of independent advisors within IMCA has grown to 25% of membership, up from less than 20% three years ago. In addition, members employed by regional broker/dealers nearly doubled over the past year, from 6.2% to 11.7%. Total membership is up 30% since 2006.

The Social Investment Forum (SIF) anounced the election of three new members and the re-election of two others to its board of directors: Jan Bryan, an investment advisor with First Affirmative Financial Network; Cliff Rosenthal, president and CEO of the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions; Leslie Lowe, director of the Energy & Environment Program at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility; Ingrid Dyott, managing director of Neuberger Berman’s SRI team; and Paul Hilton, director of advanced equities research at Calvert.
