Maryland Regulator Leaving For Washington

Maryland Insurance Commissioner Ralph S. Tyler has resigned to accept a position as chief counsel for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Tyler’s resignation will effective Jan. 8, 2010. He has been the state’s insurance commissioner since September 2007.
