Insurer Adds Vision Care

Eastern Life & Health Insurance Company is extending vision care to round out its benefit programs for employers in North Carolina and Tennessee

ELH, a subsidiary of Eastern Insurance Holdings Inc., Lancaster, Pa., says the products include a vision insurance plan and a vision discount program from VSP Vision Care, Rancho Cordova, Calif.

ELH already offers vision products in several other states, including South Carolina and Georgia, for both employer-paid and voluntary benefit plans.

ELH also sells dental, short- and long-term disability, and term life-accidental death and dismemberment coverage to small employers as well as groups of 10 or more employees.
