Jeff Frazee to join Aviva USA as Chief Information Officer

Aviva USA, Des Moines, Iowa, has announced that Jeff Frazee has joined the company as senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of the life and annuity business.

In his role at Aviva, Frazee will be responsible for all information technology functions supporting the U.S. life and annuity business. He will be located at Aviva USA’s operational headquarters in Des Moines.

“I’m very excited about Jeff joining our team,” said Chris Littlefield, CEO of Aviva USA. “This is an important time as we look for opportunities to grow our business and improve our service to distribution partners and consumers. Jeff’s leadership skills and technology experience will be great additions and we look forward to his many contributions.”

“As a seasoned leader with a proven track record for improving results in IT operations, Jeff will be an outstanding addition to the global technology talent pool within Aviva,” explained Rob Houghton, regional chief information officer for Aviva North America. “We look forward to working with Jeff to advance the Aviva U.S. technology agenda.”

“I am proud to begin the next phase of my career at Aviva USA,” said Frazee. “I look forward to working with Aviva’s leadership team and IT employees across the organization. In addition, I am excited to be moving to the Des Moines area and to becoming actively involved with the central Iowa community.”

Frazee comes to Aviva from West Bend Mutual Insurance in West Bend, Wisc. In that role, he was senior vice president and chief information officer, responsible for all IT functions as well as corporate strategic planning. While in West Bend, Frazee was on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity and Michigan Insurance Company.

He has been in the IT industry for 27 years, advancing through technical positions and serving in senior leadership roles at General Electric, Mutual of Omaha, Cap Gemini E&Y and Adelphia Communications. Frazee has a bachelors of science degree in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Neb.
