The American College has given Huebner Gold Medal awards to Gloria La Grassa and Richard Liddy.

La Grassa, who holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations, is the former president of the New York City Chapter of Financial Service Professionals.

La Grassa has served on the college board of trustees and on the board of an affiliated foundation. In 1999, she gave the college $600,000 to help pay for an auditorium.

Liddy is the retired chairman of GenAmerica Financial Corp., St. Louis.

Like La Grassa, he has served on both the board of the college and on the board of the foundation.

Liddy created the Richard A. Liddy Lecture Series for the college. He also helped endow the George G. Joseph/Richard A. Liddy Chair in Practice Management.
