A unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc. has added individual and family dental plan products in North Carolina, North Dakota, Tennessee and Utah.
Golden Rule Insurance Company, Indianapolis, is selling the new individual and family dental plans to children and Medicare recipients as well as working-age consumers.
“Applicants for the plans will automatically be accepted if they meet residency requirements and have no other dental insurance,” Golden Rule says.
In North Dakota, Tennessee and Utah, Golden Rule is offering optional vision coverage along with the dental coverage.
