John Hancock Teams With Edward Jones

Edward D. Jones & Company L.P. has negotiated another major life insurance distribution agreement.

Edward Jones will be getting access to life insurance products, underwriting and advanced markets expertise from John Hancock Life Insurance Company, Boston, John Hancock says.

John Hancock is a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto (TSX:MFC).

Edward Jones financial professionals will get access to John Hancock’s Protection UL-G, Protection VUL, Protection SUL-G, Performance UL, Accumulation VUL, Accumulation SVUL, Protection Whole Life, and Term products, John Hancock says.

Earlier, Edward Jones agreed to sell John Hancock 401(k) products, the JH Signature program and the John Hancock Guaranteed Income for Life feature.
