PBGC To Update Retirement Age Table

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. is preparing to publish a new version of a table that employers use to compute the value of early retirement benefits available through pension plans.

Employers use the table to determine the expected retirement ages of participants in plans that are undergoing distress or involuntary termination in 2010, according to the PBGC, the entity that insures private pension plans.
