Kurtz To Lead FPA

The Financial Planning Association has picked Martin Kurtz to be 2010 president-elect.

Kurtz is on track to become president of the FPA, Denver, Jan. 1, 2011, the group says.

Tom Potts is set to be the FPA’s 2010 president.

Kurtz is president of The Planning Center Inc., Moline, Ill.

Kurtz has been chair of the Board of Professional Review at the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., Washington.

The FPA has 96 chapters and 25,000 members.
