Personnel Changes: Farmers, Ohio National, DTCC

Farmers Group Inc. has hired Thomas White to be president of its Farmers Life unit.

White succeeds Paul Patsis, who has become executive vice president of Farmers Group, according to Farmers Group, Los Angeles. Farmers Group is a unit of Zurich Financial Services, Zurich.

White previously was president of AIG Thailand at American International Group Inc., New York. In addition to overseeing AIA activities in Thailand, White was the senior regional life division executive responsible for Vietnam and Indonesia.

White has a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University.

Ohio National Financial Services Inc., Cincinnati, has promoted Gary Huffman vice chairman and chief operating officer.

Huffman has been vice chairman, distribution, at Ohio National since August 2008.

Huffman has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky. He serves on the board of the American College and is a past chairman of LIMRA International, Windsor, Conn.

– The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp., New York, has hired Anne Noonan to be managing director and chief systemic risk officer.

Noonan previously was executive vice president and global head of risk management and regulatory affairs at CLS Bank International, New York.

Noonan has a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University.
