An insurance consulting firm will be supplementing the rating agencies’ evaluations of insurers with its own quarterly insurer reports.
Clark Consulting Inc., Dallas, a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands, says the reports will include insurer ratings from organizations such as Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s, along with descriptions of the strengths and weaknesses of individual carriers.
In addition to the ratings and the descriptions, the reports will include graphics that show how insurers are doing financially, Clark says.
