This week I am particularly excited to announce the launch of new weekly blogs from Life Insurance Selling‘s two longtime columnists – Richard Hoe, ChFC, CLU, AEP, and David Saltzman, RHU, DIA. Richard, who writes “The Investment Edge,” and David, who writes “To Your Good Health,” have graciously agreed to help us in our ongoing movement to offer more interactive Web-exclusive content.

LIS readers know Richard is never at a loss for words, and we’re happy to provide him with this additional forum to expound on whatever issue is on his mind each week. David has plenty of interesting observations to share about the good, bad and ridiculous of the ongoing health insurance reform debate.

These two new blogs will be published each week in this QuickTips e-newsletter and are also readily accessible from the home page at www.lifeinsuranceselling.com. The blogs also provide readers with the opportunity to chime in with your own take on an issue by submitting a comment at the end of each blog post. I don’t know about you, but when I read a blog or any online article, I almost always read through comments from readers at the end to gain additional perspective on the subject. Readers often have different takes or diametrically opposing viewpoints on the subject and many times bring up good points or arguments not covered in the original article.

Providing a forum for discussion of hot topics is a definite goal of the blogs at www.lifeinsuranceselling.com, and I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to share your views with colleagues.
