John Hancock Life Insurance and Pacific Life Insurance Company have updated their illustration tools.

Hancock, Boston, a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto, has put an electronic sales illustration system online.

The new JH Illustrator.com system will make it easier for producers to add updated product information to sales presentations, Hancock says. The program is designed to complement JH Illustrator Express, an existing system that gives producers the ability to use laptops to generate basic illustrations online.

Another insurer, Pacific Life, Newport Beach, Calif., has integrated its Web-based Planned Performance Tracking policy management system with its Navigator policy illustration system.

Producers can send new business or in-force illustrations from Navigator to Planned Performance Tracking, to create a baseline for benchmarking. Producers also can schedule future in-force illustrations, which include a Policy Tracking Report, by creating a baseline with Navigator and sending the baseline to the Planned Performance Tracking system, Pacific Life says.
