Aviva Starts Trading On NYSE

Aviva P.L.C. securities are now available through the New York Stock Exchange.

Aviva, Norwich, United Kingdom, (NYSE:AV) today began listing level 2 American Depositary Receipts on the exchange. Each ADR is backed by 2 Aviva ordinary shares.

Aviva is not issuing any new shares in connection with the listing, and its primary listing is still on the London Stock Exchange.

Aviva acquired AmerUs Group Company, Des Moines, Iowa, in 2006. About 20% of its current shareholders are in the United States, the company says.
