People rate job security and making ends meet as their top financial concerns, according to a study by Prudential Financial Inc.

Workers rank these issues above adequate health insurance coverage, which in earlier studies has been a top financial concern among U.S. workers, notes Prudential in its new report, Back to Basics.

Prudential also found workers are less certain about when they will retire: 14% in 2009 said they don’t know when they are going to retire, compared to 9% in a similar survey last year.

Nearly half of U.S. workers say they reevaluated their life insurance needs within the past year, a significant increase from 2008, according to Prudential.
