N.Y. Round Table Honors Workman

A New York insurance group is recognizing the career of Thomas Workman, president of the Life Insurance Council of New York Inc.

The Round Table of New York is giving Workman its 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Workman has been president of LICONY since 1999. Earlier, in his career, he was a captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps.

Workman is a trustee of the Griffith Foundation for Insurance Education, Worthington, Ohio, and a past chair of the Life Insurance Law Committee at the American Bar Association, Chicago.
