A health insurer has come out with a product that will enable small Oregon employers offer employees a choice of up to two dozen health plans.
Health Net Health Plan of Oregon Inc., a unit of Health Net Inc., Woodland Hills, Calif., says employers that choose the Enhanced Choice program can offer any combination of the plans available through the program.
The program could be helpful to employers that want to offer employees a choice between richer, more expensive coverage and lower-priced protection against catastrophic health problems, Health Net says.
Health Net has about 160,000 enrollees in Oregon and Washington state.
