NewRiver Updates Web System

A software company has added summary prospectus rule capabilities to its Variable Products Express system.

NewRiver Inc., Andover, Mass., says variable annuity issuers can use Version 2.0 of the system to offer electronic contract and related sub-fund prospectuses from their websites, and to assure that those documents give the same information provided by the prospectuses in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing system.
