It’s a BIG WEEK here at Life Insurance Selling as our completely redesigned September issue hits the mailboxes of our 50,000 readers. We can’t wait to see what you think of the new look, and of some new content that accompanies the standard favorites.
The September issue marks the premiere of two new monthly columnists, as Brent Welch takes over “Is this about insurance?” and Kim Magdalein creates “Better Prospecting,” which will be the “closer” in each issue just inside the back cover. We’re also very happy to welcome back monthly contributions from longtime LIS Editor and Publisher Chuck Hirsch, who will be interviewing high-level producers every month in our “Producer Roundtable” feature, which will focus on the “Main Theme” topic of each issue. Chuck’s roundtable tackles the current issues of Estate Planning in the September issue of the magazine. As always, we remain committed to bringing readers the best in field-tested, peer-to-peer insight into the business from top-producing industry leaders.
Our Web site at www.lifeinsuranceselling.com, which had its own major overhaul recently, has also been further updated to reflect the new Life Insurance Selling logo. Be sure to visit it every day to check out the “Web Exclusives” and “Today’s Features” sections on the home page, including the latest industry news and analysis from our partners at National Underwriter Life & Health and ProducersWEB, plus interesting YouTube videos or important updates from carriers or industry associations. Judging by the latest tally of visitors to our Web site, readers are noticing that there is good new Web-exclusive content posted every weekday. Monthly visits have more than doubled since the old static Web site was replaced earlier this summer, and the month of August saw a more than 36% increase in visitors over the July total.
This week also marks the kickoff week for Life Insurance Awareness Month. Right now you can see 2009 LIAM spokesperson Chris Noth’s video message to the industry in the “Today’s Features” section of our Web site. I encourage every agent out there to do their part to drum up consumer awareness of the importance of life insurance. There are many tools to help you do so courtesy of LIAM sponsor The LIFE Foundation, all of which can be accessed via the organization’s Web site at www.lifehappens.org.
I invite you to take a very close look at your September issue of the magazine and please let me know what you think. You can e-mail me directly at [email protected].
