Michael Herron Joins Marsh Private Client Life Insurance Services

Marsh, Woodland Hills, Calif., has announced that Michael Herron has joined the company as the National Wholesale Relationship Leader of the Private Client Life Insurance Services (PCLIS) unit. PCLIS is the business that resulted from Marsh’s acquisition of CentreLink Insurance and Financial Services in 2004.

Mr. Herron will oversee the division’s wholesale relationships with carriers, broker-dealers, Offices of Supervisory Jurisdictions, and financial advisors. He will also support the evaluation and establishment of new business relationships and opportunities.

Prior to joining Marsh, Mr. Herron served as Senior Regional Specialist with Time Financial and a Senior Account Executive at The Hartford. With 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Herron has earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designations. He currently holds Series 6 and 63 licenses.

Mr. Herron is a graduate of University of Southern California and is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the California Society of CPAs. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is actively involved in Leadership Burbank, YMCA Finance Committee, Burbank City Federal Credit Union Board of Directors and the USC Alumni Association.
