Eliza Corp. will be running an automated health reminder service for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Inc.

Eliza, Beverly, Mass., says it will be helping Tennessee Blue, Chattanooga, Tenn., call enrollees to encourage them to take their medicine, get recommended health screenings, and manage chronic conditions effectively.

Tennessee Blue provides or administers health coverage for about 3 million Tennessee residents.

In other insurance technology news, the Jellyvision Lab Inc., Chicago, has developed a health insurance advice system for Aetna Inc., Hartford.

The system can asks individuals who are looking for health insurance questions and gives them personalized advice about their options, such as possible access to subsidized COBRA benefits.

Aetna began offering the system to a few group health customers in 2008 and now is preparing to make the system available nationwide.
