An insurer is working with a Major League Baseball team to court Chicago consumers.

Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, a unit of MetLife Inc., New York, has kicked off the MetLife Wrigley Dreams Sweepstakes.

The grand prize winner will get to throw out a ceremonial pitch at the Chicago Cubs vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game Sept. 30. The first prize winner will get to take batting practice on Wrigley Field before the game Sept. 30.

Fans can enter the sweepstakes at http://www.cubs.com/metlife from Aug. 21 through Sept. 18.

In addition to running the sweepstakes, MetLife will give MetLife Snoopy dolls that are wearing 1984 Cubs road jerseys to the first 10,000 fans that enter Wrigley Field Sept. 30.
