A firm that sells discount programs through the Web has put a product from a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc. on its menu.
DentalPlans.com Inc., Plantation, Fla., is now selling the OptumHealth-Allies program along with about 30 other discount dental plans.
The OptumHealth Allies, Glendale, Calif., is a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn.
The OptumHealth program offers set discounts of 10% to 35% on dental care procedures such as cleanings, X-rays and fillings. The program also provides discounts on root canal treatments, crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and dentures. The annual membership price ranges from $159.95 to $189.95.
Most plans activate within 3 business days.
