The Association of Community Affiliated Plans has picked Summit Reinsurance Services Inc. to be a preferred vendor of help with analyzing, preventing and reinsuring against catastrophic claims.
ACAP, Washington, represents Medicaid plans and other “safety net” plans. Member plans provide health coverage for 6 million people.
Summit Re, Fort Wayne, Ind., which has a relationship with Swiss Reinsurance Company, Zurich, sells health plan reinsurance and related risk management services.
