Matrix Direct Inc. and the Dignity Memorial network are marketing a system that can help consumers plan and fund funerals and other end-of-life arrangements.
Matrix Direct, Houston, is a unit of American General Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of American International Group Inc., New York.
Dignity Memorial is a unit of Service Corp. International, Houston, that represents funeral, cemetery and cremation services.
The organizations’ Dignity Planning system can help consumers store an end-of-life plan, tell loved ones about the plan, and evaluate insurance policies and other products and services that could be used to pay for the arrangements.
Consumers can create plans through the mail, on the telephone, or through the Web.
