Nippon Life Benefits wants to sell employee benefit programs to more Korean companies that are doing business in the United States.

Nippon Life Benefits, New York, a unit of Nippon Life Insurance Company, Osaka, Japan, has been selling benefits products to Japanese employers that do business in the United States for about 20 years.

The company now hopes to expand the model and offer benefits products and advisory services tailored to suit the needs of Korean employers, according to Nippon Life Benefits.

Nippon Life Benefits begin testing the Korean employer marketing program earlier this year.
