An insurer is buying complete control over a limited medical plan company.

Pan-American Life Insurance Group, New York, has acquired USNow L.P., Plano, Texas.

Pan-American Life previously had owned a 20% stake in USNow, a company that has been representing the Pan-American Life U.S. worksite line since 2006.

The USNow headquarters will stay in Plano, and John Foley, a senior vice president at Pan-American Life, will oversee the USNow operations, Pan-American Life says.
