NAVA will be changing its name and conducting a "complete and total rebranding" July 20.

The annuity industry group also has moved its offices to downtown Washington, from Reston, Va., a group representative says.

In addition, NAVA has hired John Little to be vice president of federal affairs.

Little previously was a senior vice president at the Petrizzo Strategic Group Inc., Washington, a lobbying firm. From 2004 to 2008, he was chief of staff for Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla.

Little has a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University and law degree from the Cumberland School of Law.
