FRC Hires CEO

Bruce Fador has become the chief executive officer of Financial Research Corp.

Fador will be the first CEO of FRC, Boston, since Mercatus L.L.C., Boston, the parent of FRC, acquired the company from Citigroup Inc., New York, in November 2008.

Bob Hedges and Teresa Epperson, partners at Mercatus, have been managing FRC.

Fador previously was the chief operations officer at Decision Resources Financial, a division of Decision Resources Inc., Waltham, Mass. From 1992 to 1998, he was president of Thomson First Call.
