A new Outdoor Survival Card product will cater to individuals who participate in outdoor recreational activities.

Jon Brunson, host of the show Addicted to the Outdoors, and Jeff Grabiak, president of Worksite Benefits Inc., Alpharetta, Ga., are marketing the program, which draws on a package of benefits made available by the Consumers Direct Association of America, Dallas.

The program includes travel assistance services; access to the Coast to Coast Vision discount program; access to a pharmacy discount program administered by HealthTrans Inc., Greenwood Village, Colo.; access to a Beltone hearing aid discount program; and access to the telephone physician access program developed by TelaDoc Inc., Dallas.

Consumers who participate in the program for at least 30 days qualify for $25,000 in accidental death and dismemberment benefits from Chesapeake Life Insurance Company, a unit of HealthMarkets Inc., North Richland Hills, Texas, and up to $5,000 in short-term disability insurance and $10,000 in long-term disability insurance from National Union Fire Insurance Company, Pittsburgh, a unit of American International Group Inc., New York.

The cost of the program for an individual is $19.95 per month, the marketers say.
