The National Association of Professional Benefit Administrators wants to organize a lobbying campaign on behalf of the flexible spending account program.

The Obama administration has suggested that cutting or eliminating the FSA tax break could be a way to finance health reform, according to NAPBA, Madison, Wis.

"Removing FSAs will be a tax increase on working employees, and President Obama promised tax breaks during his campaign!" NAPBA says.

NAPBA will be holding a free webinar at noon CDT Friday to organize member efforts to tell lawmakers about the value of FSAs and enlist the support of members' clients.
