Aetna Inc. is donating $10,000 to a fund established to preserve the memory of Terrell Slayton Jr., the 2008 chairman of 100 Black Men of Atlanta.
Slayton, 61, a former Georgia assistant secretary of state, died in September 2008.

The Slayton memorial fund will support a 100 Black Men of Atlanta program that will help young people get the scholarships and mentoring they need to pursue health care careers, Aetna says.
