A retirement services vendor wants to do more to help retirement plan sponsors run their plans.
Transamerica Retirement Services, Los Angeles, a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands, has introduced the Plan Administration Service Support program.
Plan sponsors that adopt the program can let Transamerica handle plan maintenance and mailings, loans, distributions, and eligibility-related tasks.
Transamerica also can help with tracking new employees’ eligibility to enroll in the retirement plan, preparing enrollment materials and notices, and mailing materials to employees’ homes at the appropriate eligibility date.
Transamerica can work with a sponsor’s plan administrator as well as with the sponsor, the company says.
