? Former Schwab Institutional president Debbie McWhinney, who retired from that position in 2007 and was most recently CEO and president of the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation has been named head of Citi Personal Wealth Management, which includes the existing network of Citibank branch-based financial advisors and other financial planning and management services. ? Lynn Turner, former chief accountant for the SEC has been named senior advisor and managing director in the forensic accounting practice of LECG, a global provider of independent expert testimony and analysis, original authoritative studies and strategic advisory services, and will work out of the firm’s San Francisco office. ? Dennis Klaeser recently joined Raymond James as a senior analyst in the firm’s equity research department, covering Midwest and Western regional banks. StrategicPoint Investment Advisors, Providence, Rhode Island, has announced the promotion of Betsey Purinton to vice president, chief financial planner. In addition to her work with StrategicPoint, Purinton is currently president of the Financial Planning Association of Rhode Island.
