Lynn Turner, former chief accountant for the SEC has been named senior advisor and managing director in the forensic accounting practice of LECG, a global provider of independent expert testimony and analysis, original authoritative studies and strategic advisory services, and will work out of the firm’s San Francisco office. ? Dennis Klaeser recently joined Raymond James as a senior analyst in the firm’s equity research department, covering Midwest and Western regional banks. He will be based in the Raymond James Capital Markets office in Chicago. ? UBS announced that it has hired Ananias (Andy) Blocker as a Managing Director in its US Office of Public Policy. Blocker is based in Washington, DC, and joins UBS from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), where he was Vice President of Government Relations. ? StrategicPoint Investment Advisors, Providence, Rhode Island, has announced the promotion of Betsey Purinton to vice president, chief financial planner.
